XDM3000 Extended-Duty Air Compressor
(2)The XDM3000 extended-duty DC air compressor utilizes oil control piston rings, finned head and oil reservoir/PCV to significantly reduce oil discharge into the air supply, thereby reducing maintenance. This DC air compressor model also employs a commercial grade 12 VDC motor equipped with a cooling fan that dramatically extends run-time by reducing heat buildup in the motor.
The XDM3000 compressor is basically identical to the XDM4000 compressor, except without the fan to cool the head of the compressor. The XDM3000 provides up to 30 minutes of continuous (100%) run time at 100 psi, at 70 degrees ambient temperature, after which the duty cycle drops to 50%, which is perfect for applications requiring medium-duty use. For heavier duty applications, please consider the XD4000 compressors. We do not recommend the use of XDM3000 compressors for mobile tire changing applications, please use the XDM4000 instead.

XDM4000 Continuous-Duty Air Compressor
(2)As part of our exclusive line of DC air compressor products, our XDM4000 continuous-duty air compressor is the ultimate tool for extensive compressed air performance. GSA approved, the XDM4000 continuous-duty DC air compressor is equipped with a specially designed deep-finned head and compressor body. In addition, this unit features an exclusive, forced air motor and compressor cooling system.
The XDM4000 continuous-duty DC air compressor model possesses dual fans: a 100 cfm fan built into a housing shroud, which works to cool the body and motor of the machine, while providing added protection to the unit, and an internal fan which also cools the modified 5 hp electric motor. This unique cooling combination, found exclusively on our high-quality XDM4000 continuous-duty DC air compressor, provides superior operating temperature reduction resulting in an unrivaled 100 percent duty-cycle at 200 psi.
Our XDM4000 continuous-duty DC air compressors are built to handle the most rugged commercial service and tow truck project requirements, as well as military applications, off-road vehicles, and air suspension systems.
